Job Description And Duties
Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Supervisor II (ITS II) the Information Technology Associate (ITA) responds to all DIR users providing timely, courteous, and effective technical support of computer hardware and software according to the IT Service Level Agreement. The ITA will analyze, develop and document business processes utilizing industry’s best practices and standard methodologies.

Working ConditionsLocation:
1515 Clay Street, Suite 401, Oakland, CA 94612. The ITA works in an open‑spaced, partitioned, climate‑controlled office environment in a high‑rise building under natural and artificial light within walking distance of public transportation. The role involves substantial computer work, including document creation, research, email correspondence, and other related tasks. The ITA may perform additional duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences, equalize work periods, or balance workload.
The incumbent must work full time in the office and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule after the probationary period.
Physical requirements:
Ability to unpack, move and install IT equipment and navigate IT equipment around the work area to connect/disconnect network and power cables. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
