Position Overview: The Speech Therapist develops and implements a plan for providing rehabilitation home therapeutic treatment as well as education of patients, family members and significant others to home health and hospice patients. This position also coordinates with other home health staff to provide an efficient integration of care.

Qualifications- Education
:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Master s in speech pathology from an educational institution accredited by the Education and Training Board of American Speech Language Hearing Association - Certification & Licensure
: ST-Speech Therapy for the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance; DL-Valid Drivers License Class C or B; AUTO-Automobile Insurance; BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - Typical Experience
: 2 years recent relevant experience - Skills and Knowledge
:
Possesses the ability to organize, use time efficiently, and communicate well;
Demonstrates clinical assessment skills in area of expertise;
Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range is $53.75 to $72.19 / hour. The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
