This role focuses on providing behavioral support, specifically leveraging Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) strategies and technique, in a school setting, with students ranging from pre‑K to high school. It is highly beneficial if you have previous experience supporting students with special needs and have worked in a 1:1 or 1:multiple environment; however, it is not a requirement as we have many entry level positions for those seeking to kick‑start their career in the field of behavioral health.
Responsibilities- Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity
- Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adults
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
- Potential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)
- Potential toileting/diapering assistance
- Associate’s degree preferred; high school diploma (or equivalent) required
- Experience in childcare and/or ABA preferred
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Passion for supporting students in the learning process
- Strong assessment skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
