Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $230,000 to $250,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, and coordinate monthly and annual financial reporting, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal control systems, conducting audits and updates to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Analyze financial metrics and key data to provide actionable insights for cost reduction and improved profitability.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory control, and payroll processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage banking, treasury, and external consulting relationships, ensuring proper cash flow management and compliance.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with an MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in financial management, including four years in audit.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in accounting, financial controls, and regulatory compliance.
  • Exhibit strong analytical abilities with keen attention to financial details and reporting accuracy.
  • Possess proven leadership, communication, and teamwork skills to oversee teams and financial operations.
Qualifications:
  • Apply expertise in consumer goods, manufacturing, or retail accounting for financial oversight.
  • Lead system improvements and error resolution, working closely with IT and ERP platforms such as SAP S4 Hana.
  • Train, mentor, and manage accounting staff, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Participate in strategic planning, setting objectives, and managing execution of financial projects.
  • A CPA certification to strengthen accounting expertise and industry knowledge.
