Orthopedic Surgeon Pediatrics Opportunity in Oakland, CA
Full‑time BE/BC Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon position at Kaiser Permanente / The Permanente Medical Group (TPMG). This rare opportunity focuses on a diverse pediatric orthopaedic practice covering foot, hip, deformity, neuromuscular, syndromic, and fracture care.
Location & Practice EnvironmentThe role is based at the Oakland Medical Center. Our multi‑specialty orthopaedic group includes pediatrics, complex trauma, arthroplasty, hip preservation, musculoskeletal oncology, trauma, hand, and sports. Collaboration with pediatric subspecialists (hospitalist pediatrics, pediatric surgery, pediatric anesthesiology, and all pediatric medical subspecialists) supports multidisciplinary clinics for skeletal dysplasia, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and neurofibromatosis. Dedicated operating room block time is available for urgent pediatric surgery.
Our Pediatric Orthopaedic practice receives referrals from 15 regional orthopaedics groups and pediatricians throughout the greater SF Bay Area and actively engages in resident education, supporting the San Francisco Orthopaedic Residency program.
Compensation & BenefitsFull‑time annual salary range $600,000 to $625,020 plus potential incentives up to $73,080*. Reduced schedules with pro‑rated compensation may be available.
