Under the direction of the Supervisor I, in the Division of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) in the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), the Analyst II independently performs a variety of more responsible and complex analytical assignments related to fleet management, telecommunications, business services, contracts, procurement, consultation, and reporting functions. The incumbent manages the Division’s Fleet Program and ensures use and inventory of vehicles meets business and operational needs.
The incumbent also manages the Division's Telecommunications program and ensures cell phones and accessories are promptly distributed and tracked. The incumbent works closely and frequently with DIR’s Fleet, Telecommunications, Contracts and Procurement, Safety and Security, and Business Management units.

Responsibilities- Independently performs a variety of analytical assignments related to fleet management, telecommunications, business services, contracts, procurement, consultation, and reporting functions.
- Manages the Division’s Fleet Program and ensures use and inventory of vehicles meet business and operational needs.
- Manages the Division's Telecommunications program and ensures cell phones and accessories are promptly distributed and tracked.
- Collaborates with DIR’s Fleet, Telecommunications, Contracts and Procurement, Safety and Security, and Business Management units.
- Participates in duties within the Administration Unit with ancillary responsibilities in contracts and procurement.

Working ConditionsThis job is located at the Division of Occupational Safety and Health – Administration, 1515 Clay St. Suite 1901, Oakland, CA 94612. The incumbent works in a high-rise building with cubicle workspace, extensive computer use, and standard office conditions. The area is accessible from the 12th Street Oakland City Center BART station and near Hwy 980. The building offers nearby lunch options, seasonal farmers markets, and limited parking considerations.
