Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting activities, including payables, receivables, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Manage cost tracking for projects to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal standards.
- Prepare periodic financial reports to support business decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting principles and company guidelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in accounting operations, ideally within a manufacturing or cost-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of job cost accounting and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with SAGE 100.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Skilled in identifying process improvements and implementing efficient workflows.
- Knowledge of GAAP and compliance requirements for financial reporting.
- Prior experience supporting audits and working with external auditors.
- Comfortable adapting to hybrid work environments and managing multiple priorities.
