Location: Alachua, FL

Pay: $20.00-$50.00 Hourly

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

The Transportation Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for all maintenance on our fleet of over 160 trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative maintenance and required repairs on G&C-owned diesel equipment such as Yard Trucks, Trailers, and Road Tractors
• Performing minor repairs to G&C Leased equipment when necessary
• Assist the Transportation Maintenance Supervisor with repairing the washing equipment
• Assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of experience in Reefer Trailer Repair
• Air Brake Certification preferred
• Diesel Engine Certification preferred
• Reefer Experience required
• FLS Driver's License required
• CDL A or CDL B preferred
• Inspectors' License preferred
• Must have basic mechanical tools
