Regional Non CDL Driver at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions – Alabaster, AL

Immediate opening for a SOLO Non‑CDL Truck Driver. We want the right trucker to join us in Alabaster, AL. Contact Caely: 904‑541‑8943 or text “Alabaster”.

• $1050 or more per week – pay structure:
• Solo Miles: $0.40 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
• Solo Stops: $10.00 per Stop
• Per Diem: $40.00 per night with 2 nights per Week
• Overnights: for route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Load Out: $21.50
• Paid Training
• Schedule:
  
  Tuesday – Friday
• Start Time: 2:30 am

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience
• Pass Ryder Drug Test
• Pass Ryder Background and Motor Vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years
• Pass DOT Physical
• Pass Ryder Road Test
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures
• Driving experience for straight truck or box truck:
  • 6 months experience in the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Must have box truck and delivery experience
• Freight:
  Touch – Glass, Hand unload and Forklift

• Primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle while complying with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
• Maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
• Other tasks as assigned.
