Position: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Alabaster, AL
Provide specialized nursing care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU) environment, supporting patients with medical, neurological, and surgical needs. This contract position offers a night shift schedule in a well-equipped 12-bed ICU unit known for managing complex cases using advanced technology such as ventilators, arterial lines, and central venous lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver critical care nursing to neuro, medical, and surgical ICU patients
• Manage patient care utilizing advanced life-support equipment including ventilators and arterial lines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using the Cerner electronic medical records system
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:3 to provide focused attention
• Float to other units as needed to support hospital staffing demands

Qualifications and Desired

Experience:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) with current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience, ideally including neuro ICU exposure
• Ability to work night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend scheduled
• Professional presentation with mandatory navy scrubs as dress code

• Night shift: 1830 - 0700
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
