Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (IMC Stepdown) night shift role in a hospital setting, requiring current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the IMC Stepdown unit of a hospital
- Unit has 20 beds and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4
- Night 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required
- Patient population includes those with pneumonia and other intermediate care needs
- Floating required as needed within your skillset, including supporting floatpool or similar units
- Uses Epic for charting
- Provide care to patients with intermediate or progressive needs in a fast-paced environment
- Navy blue scrubs required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Holiday coverage may be required based on the hospital schedule
- Active AL or compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Previous PCU, IMC, or stepdown nursing experience required
