Spectrum Environmental Services, Inc., an established company spanning more than 30 years in business and with offices in Mobile and Birmingham, Alabama, is in search of a Sewer/Storm Pipe CCTV Technician for our Birmingham, Alabama area. The TV camera is mounted to a transporter that traverses either sanitary sewer lines or storm pipes, looking for defects and observing the integrity of the pipe.

Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.

• Setting up the camera daily.
• Lowering and lifting the camera/transporter in and out of manholes.
• Setting of the preset footage, cleaning the camera and all associated equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the day.
• Ability to adhere to all safety precautions and wear proper PPE at all times.

• Desired:
  The desire to learn the inspection software.
• Understand the inspection process with some proficiency.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications a plus.
