Pay Rate: $12.00 per hour. No experience required; training provided.

Responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment, and patient‑related items to their destinations.

• Properly and safely transport patients, securing IVs, drainage tubes, and other items.
• Use wheelchairs and other approved rolling stock to carry out essential duties.
• Demonstrate competency in transporting all specific age groups.
• Ensure the safe, timely, and accurate transport of patients to their destination using the proper requested equipment.
• Communicate effectively with nursing personnel, clinicians, technicians, or reception and dispatch.
• Maintain patient comfort by being attentive; offer blankets, check modesty, and engage in appropriate conversation.
• Alert nursing staff immediately to any signs of patient distress or equipment malfunction.
• Maintain equipment and report equipment needing repairs.
• Comply with regulatory agency standards, including federal, state, and JCAHO.
• Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policy as outlined in the facility HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
