Finance Intern

The Finance Intern will work closely with the finance team to support a variety of accounting and financial functions, including budgeting, financial analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This internship provides hands‑on experience in corporate finance and offers a strong foundation for a future career in finance or accounting. The role includes exposure to Accounts Payable support, month‑end close activities, financial reporting, and opportunities to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and add value to the organization.

• Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Prepare entry‑level month‑end journal entries under supervision
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
• Assist Accounts Payable (AO) with electronic filing and document management
• Assist in maintaining internal controls and documentation for audits
• Analyze financial data for trends and variances
• Collaborate with the finance team on budgeting and forecasting activities
• Support the implementation and monitoring of financial policies and procedures
• Participate in audits and regulatory compliance activities
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementation initiatives
• Provide support for ad‑hoc financial projects and analysis
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong academic performance with coursework in financial accounting and reporting
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Net Suite, or ERP systems) is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive financial data confidentially
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong desire to learn and contribute in a professional setting
