Overview

NTB / Mavis Tires & Brakes at Discount Prices is seeking full-time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at state-of-the-art service and retail tire centers in the Alabaster, AL area. Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States, with over 2,000 locations.

As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure the retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers enforce established policies, procedures and standards, schedule mechanics/technicians, manage outside orders, ensure the quality and timely completion of jobs, meet customer expectations, and uphold the safety of team members.

The Service Manager assists customers with tire selections and recommends necessary under-car repair services. They direct the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, stage vehicle repair and maintenance work, and drive sales initiatives. Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess needs, provide information about repairs and maintenance, ensure customer satisfaction with the in-store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations.

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Either: (i) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, (ii) 1 year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or (iii) any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
