The purpose of the Warehouse Lead Associate is to lead a variety of warehouse delivery tasks to ensure efficiency, safety, and accuracy within the warehouse.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure shipping and receiving functions, including receipt of delivery, processing of returns and warranty are completed accurately and timely
- Coordinate inbound receiving schedule allowing ample time for freight to be received and put away accurately on a daily basis
- Maintain the organization and appearance of the warehouse to ensure inventory is presentable and accurate
- Maintain inventory accuracy to include: perform discrepancy counts, cycle counts, bin locations and various daily, weekly and monthly reports.
- Maintains relationships with freight carriers to ensure timely delivery of product and payment of freight claims for lost and damaged shipments
- Coordinate building maintenance and security
- Verify, receive and put away incoming stock
- Pull, pack, stage and ship outgoing orders and transfers
- Assist customers with orders, as needed
- Assist customers in processing returns of warranty items and stock items
- Operate handheld scanners to receive, move and track inventory in and out of the facility
- Assist management with inventory accuracy, including cycle count and physical inventory
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouse and common areas to ensure an orderly and safe work environment
- Operate site vehicle for customer and branch orders, as needed
- Maintain regular, punctual and reliable physical attendance
- Work overtime as assigned
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of HVAC experience
- One year forklift experience preferred
- One year warehouse experience preferred
- One year customer service experience preferred
- Proficient in computer and inventory systems, preferred
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
- Qualify for and remain insurable under Company liability insurance policy
- Qualify under federal and state regulations to drive the vehicle in question
- 0% travel that would require overnight stay.
