Saiia Construction, a Mas Tec company, is currently hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator with Articulating Haul Truck experience in the Steele, AL area.

• Excavator Operation – Operates excavator to dig holes, trenches, and transport earth, gravel, and industrial by‑products. Starts engine, operates hydraulic attachments, and may use GPS grade technology.
• Bulldozer / Grader Operation – Operates bulldozer or grader to level and distribute soil and other materials, push or clear obstacles, and may use GPS grade technology.
• Rock / Articulated / Dump / Roll‑Off Truck Driver – Operates dump truck to transport and dump loose materials, turning controls to tilt, dump, and move the vehicle.
• Front‑End Loader Operator – Operates loader equipped with bucket or scoop to lift, transport, and load bulk materials, using levers and pedals to control the machine.
• Compactor Operator – Operates heavy rolling machine to compact soil, sand, rock, or gravel, controlling speed and pressure to achieve specified compaction.
• Scraper / Tractor Operator – Operates scraper or tractor‑drawn equipment to move, haul, and grade earth on construction sites, controlling loading gates and attachment movements.
• Water Truck Driver – Operates water truck to transport potable water and spray dust‑control water, performing routine inspections and maintenance.

• Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA and other related state and federal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficiency in using email, smartphone, tablet, or computer to manage company information and documents.
• Ability to draft routine reports and correspondence.
• Must maintain acceptable attendance standards per the employee handbook.
• Approach and complete work in a meticulous, thorough, and timely manner.
