Insulator Helper

Job Summary

Support Insulators in installing and maintaining insulation on various structures and equipment. Assist with material preparation, workspace setup, and ensuring projects proceed safely and efficiently.

• Gather and prepare insulation materials.
• Cut and shape materials as needed.

• Set up equipment and prepare surfaces for insulation.
• Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and other necessary equipment to access work areas.

• Hold insulation materials in place while Insulators secure them with staples, tape, or other fasteners.
• Assist Insulators in applying insulation materials to pipes, ductwork, boilers, tanks, and other structures.

• Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues to supervisors.
• Work collaboratively with other Insulator Helpers and Insulators to complete projects on schedule.

• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Basic construction knowledge preferred.
