Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi-Cola Bottler founded in Birmingham, AL, more than 100 years ago. The CME Refrigeration Technician is a key member of the Corporate Marketing Equipment team and provides all aspects of repair and refurbishment of refrigerated and non-refrigerated equipment.
Essential Functions- Assesses safety within a job situation and requests assistance if needed.
- Maintains requirements of EPA when dealing with refrigeration and topics governed by that agency.
- Required to perform internal repairs on vending machines, visa coolers and refrigeration units.
- Required to use hand tools, OHM meter, etc. Refrigeration recovery equipment to repair assigned machine.
- Required to assume various positions such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, overhead and bent reach, and standing for long periods of time to perform repairs.
- Required to utilize electronic tablet for inputting and completing work orders in Maintenance Connection.
- May be required to work weekends and/or overtime if needed to meet customer demand.
- Attends and/or participates in all scheduled meetings as directed.
- Required to complete training assignments in Canvas and other directed programs for further education.
- Required to complete other activities/duties as assigned.
- Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
- Responsible for continuous self-improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web-based, in-house, or any other provided method. Must successfully complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
