North Alabama Restorations Inc. is hiring a dedicated and experienced Finished Carpenter to perform high-quality reconstruction and finishing work in homes affected by water or fire damage. In this role, you'll work on-site across the North Alabama region, expertly executing tasks such as trim carpentry, drywall patching, and painting. Key Responsibilities

• Install interior trim including baseboards, crown molding, and door casings with precision.
• Patch and finish drywall including taping, mudding, sanding, and seamless wall integration.
• Paint interior and exterior surfaces with consistent quality and professional technique.
• Follow insurance restoration guidelines (e.g., IICRC standards, Allstate documentation).
• Maintain tools and equipment; ensure safety and readiness for job site work.
• Document work progress with photos and notes for quality assurance and insurance claims.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures and PPE requirements in all working environments.

Qualifications

• With 2+ years of experience in carpentry, drywall, and painting (insurance restoration preferred).
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools (saws, sanders, sprayers, rollers, etc.).
• Knowledgeable in drywall repair methods, trim installation, and surface preparation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in confined or damaged structures.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or with a team.
• Must be able to travel within Northern Alabama

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $25 - $30+/hour
• Overtime Pay:
  Time and a half based on hourly pay.
• Consistent work and support from experienced leadership

Schedule

• Full-time:
  Monday-Friday
• Flexible availability for occasional emergency work (evenings/weekends)

• Based in Huntsville, AL with job site travel throughout Madison, Decatur, and Athens
