Job Description

Sher Contracting is looking for skilled and dedicated carpenters to join our team. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship, have strong attention to detail, and want to work in a professional environment, we want to hear from you.

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and assemble structures, fixtures, doors, and window coverings
• Perform framing and general carpentry tasks
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use a scissor lift to install frames when necessary
• Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to precise specifications
• Repair and maintain existing structures as needed
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors on job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety regulations and company protocols

What We're Looking For:

• Carpentry Experience: Demonstrated ability to perform skilled carpentry work, including framing, installations, and repairs
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings
• Proficiency with Tools: Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and construction materials
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce high-quality work with precision and accuracy
• Problem-Solving Ability: Capable of troubleshooting issues and making necessary adjustments on-site
• Physical Stamina: Must be able to handle manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Teamwork & Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other tradespeople and supervisors
• Work Ethic & Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and committed to completing projects on time

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (must arrive 15 minutes prior to shift)

Pay:

• $20 - $22 per hour, based on experience and skill level
