FLEX Security Officer – Toyota Manufacturing Plant

Marksman Security Corporation is hiring immediately for a FLEX Security Officer at the Toyota Manufacturing Plant. $17.50 per hour. This is a part
- time position. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Flex Hours – Must be fully flexible and able to work any hours (no exceptions). Ability to obtain up to 30 hours per week.

Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Alabama, Inc. – 1 Cotton valley Dr. NW Toney, AL 35773.

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in security or customer service fields.

• Rover – Foot or vehicle patrols, responsible for detecting suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, theft, or other criminal behavior.
• Gatehouse – Greet residents and guests, check identification, log visitor vehicles, announce visitors, control access to all persons.
• Front Desk – Acknowledge and greet guests courteously, customer service, access control, monitor CCTV camera systems, distribute packages.

• Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
• Manage all guest/visitor access as needed and eject trespassers or violators from premises when deemed necessary.
• Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
• Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of visitor arrival.
• Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor or detect suspicious behavior to assist in preventing vandalism, theft, and other criminal behavior.
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
• Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
• Warn violators of infractions (loitering, smoking, possession of prohibited items).
• Respond to calls of distress, alarms, or emergencies such as fire, injuries, or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
• Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
• Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
• Other duties as determined by management.

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Valid state licensing.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Minimum of one year of security experience.
• Must pass pre‑employment screening (background and drug).
• This position will require occasional crawling, crouching, climbing stairs, kneeling, running, sitting, standing, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
