As a Security Officer – Manufacturing Driver Patrol in Brookwood, AL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as manufacturing & industrial. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a part‑time security officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.
• Maintain detailed records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered while on duty.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address site‑specific concerns and support ongoing security‑related initiatives.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• This post is primarily a driving post.
• At this site there are limited on‑site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
