We are a leading manufacturer in the waste and recycling equipment sector, delivering high-quality refuse bodies, compactors, hoists, and related equipment to municipalities, private haulers, and industrial clients. As part of our aggressive growth strategy, we are expanding our regional sales team.
Position Summary
The Territory Sales Representative will drive revenue growth across an assigned multi-state territory. This individual will manage established accounts while aggressively developing new business within municipal, private hauler, and dealer channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and grow a defined geographic sales territory
- Develop new business with municipalities and private waste haulers
- Manage dealer relationships and end-user accounts
- Lead capital equipment sales cycles ($75K-$500K+ units)
- Conduct on-site visits, equipment demos, and bid presentations
- Prepare proposals, quotes, and RFP responses
- Maintain CRM accuracy and forecast territory performance
- Travel 50-70% within assigned region
- 3+ years of outside/territory sales experience
- Experience in waste, recycling, vocational trucks, heavy equipment, or capital equipment sales preferred
- Experience selling to municipalities or industrial accounts strongly preferred
- Proven quota attainment history
- Comfortable with long sales cycles and technical products
