Position: QA/QC with CWI

Location: Calvert, Alabama

The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next QA/QC with CWI. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. • Must be able to read and understand shop detail drawings (structural, plate, and pipe)
• Verify that painted items are accurate as specified on the shop drawings
• Effectively document the inspection results and relay that information to the proper individuals whether it is the shop foreman, production manager, and/or the QA/QC Manager

• Initiate, implement, and supervise the Quality Control Program
• Identify and initiate solutions for any nonconformity
• Conduct an annual review of the Quality Program for conformity and improvement
• Maintain required documentation for objective evidence of quality

• Several years of experience in a fabrication shop is required
• UT Testing Experience is a plus
• CWI preferred
• Visual Inspections of Welds
• Dimensional Checking
• OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
