Position: QA/QC with CWI
Location: Calvert, Alabama
The Systems Group is looking for an energetic individual to be our next QA/QC with CWI. We are looking for someone to help with the day-to-day issues that pop up but to also be part of the big picture and contribute to the long-term strategy of our operations across the country. Responsibilities
- Must be able to read and understand shop detail drawings (structural, plate, and pipe)
- Verify that painted items are accurate as specified on the shop drawings
- Effectively document the inspection results and relay that information to the proper individuals whether it is the shop foreman, production manager, and/or the QA/QC Manager
- Initiate, implement, and supervise the Quality Control Program
- Identify and initiate solutions for any nonconformity
- Conduct an annual review of the Quality Program for conformity and improvement
- Maintain required documentation for objective evidence of quality

Experience and Requirements- Several years of experience in a fabrication shop is required
- UT Testing Experience is a plus
- CWI preferred
- Visual Inspections of Welds
- Dimensional Checking
- OSHA Approved Met-Guard boots (annual company allowance provided)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
