Occupational Health Registered Nurse (RN)

Montgomery, AL
Night
Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm

Job Summary
As an On-Site Occupational Health RN, you will:
- Provide injury triage and treatment
- Support workers' health and wellness initiatives
- Collaborate with safety teams and leadership
- Help prevent workplace injuries before they happen
What You'll Do
- Triage and treat
- Provide follow-up care using evidence-based protocols
- Support workers' compensation and risk management processes
- Document all patient encounters in EMR
- Maintain a clean, stocked on-site clinic
- Communicate with MMC leadership and local healthcare providers
- Work daily with site safety personnel
- Lead "Stretch and Flex" sessions
- Conduct job site walk-throughs
- Identify potential health risks
- Promote employee wellness initiatives
- Current Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current ACLS certification (required)
- OSHA-30 Certification (required within 90 days; company provided)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a licensed RN
- Emergency Department/Hospital experience required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and complete medical and administrative documentation
- Valid driver's license in good standing (if driving required)
- Must be able to meet physical demands listed above

- Overtime paid at 1.5x regular rate (over 40 hours/week or per state law)
