This opportunity is ideal for an experienced RN with a strong background in Operating Room nursing, particularly those skilled in robotic procedures. The assignment is based in Deatsville, Alabama, offering a contract position with a schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week. This role supports surgical services across six operating rooms and one cystoscopy room, handling a diverse patient population in specialties such as General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Pediatric Dental, Podiatry, ENT, and Robotics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert circulator nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Manage robotic-assisted surgeries predominantly in General, Gynecology, and Urology specialties.
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios to ensure excellent focused care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to uphold sterile techniques from the central sterile processing area.
• Ensure compliance with all patient safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications and

Experience:

• Minimum of two years non-travel experience preferred, though first-time travelers with two years of pertinent experience are welcome.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Strong expertise in circulating duties with an emphasis on robotic surgical procedures.
• Core specialties required include General Surgery, Gynecology, Urology, and Vascular Surgery.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced surgical environment with multiple simultaneous cases.
