Travel RN - ICU

Location: Fernbank

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Surgical ICU position requiring at least 2 years of recent surgical ICU experience and a current RN license.

Job Details

• Work in a 20-bed adult Surgical ICU within a hospital setting,

• Care for ICU and post-surgical patients including trauma, GI surgery, ortho/neuro spine, transplant, vascular, ENT, and general surgery cases,

• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts,

• Patients are adults with diverse, complex surgical needs,

• Floating may be required to units of similar skill set,

• Uses Epic charting system,

Job Requirements

• Active MD or Compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification is required,

• Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical ICU experience in a comparable facility (500+ beds),

• Previous travel assignments preferred,

• ACLS certification preferred,

• Critical Care certification and trauma course preferred,

• Epic EMR experience preferred,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include managing critically ill surgical patients and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team,

• Orientation offered on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month,

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except where otherwise stated,

• Professional and supportive work environment with exposure to a wide variety of surgical procedures,

• Holiday and weekend coverage may be required, per unit needs,
