Registered Nurse (RN) – UAB Medical West

As a Registered Nurse at UAB Medical West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
