As a Registered Nurse (RN) at UAB Medical West, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent nursing degree.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effectiveness and side effects.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

The required skills for this position include strong clinical assessment abilities, which will be utilized daily to evaluate patient health and develop care plans. Effective communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with the healthcare team, ensuring that everyone is aligned on patient care strategies.
