Position: Weekend Alternative (WEA/Baylor) Nurse (LPN/RN)
Location: Aliceville

Aliceville Manor Nursing Home offers a Weekend Alternative (WEA/Baylor) program for eligible nurses. WEA nurses work two 12.5‑hour shifts each weekend and receive full‑time pay and full‑time benefits while keeping weekdays free. Day and night shift options are available.

Aliceville Manor Nursing Home is committed to providing high‑quality care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced RNs and LPNs to join our healthcare team.

As a Nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for residents based on their individual needs. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities of a Nurse

Assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor residents for any adverse reactions, and provide education on medication management and side effects. Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions as needed. Provide direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.

Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure safe and effective care. Document resident assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
