Forklift Operator, Manufacturing Production
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: Sterrett, AL
Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour (based on forklift operating test)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, occasional Saturdays required
What's the Job?
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials throughout the facility
- Transport raw materials and finished products to designated locations
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to ensure a safe environment
What's Needed?
- Prior forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work occasional Saturdays as required
