The Forklift Driver is responsible for operating powered industrial trucks to support manufacturing and logistics operations. This role ensures efficient and safe movement of materials and products by supplying the production line, loading and unloading trucks, and storing materials, including placement in cooler storage areas of trucks as needed.
Minimum Qualifications- Must have 1 year of forklift operating experience, 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures, experience/ability to learn scan gun technology.
- Candidates must be able to work 5–7 days a week and work overtime as needed.
- Experience with multiple types of powered industrial trucks (e.g., sit‑down, stand‑up, reach truck, pallet jack).
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures, strong attention to detail, proficiency in warehouse management systems, and basic computer applications (Excel, email, data entry, M3 system, scan guns).

Work EnvironmentThe position requires working in cold, wet, and occasionally dry conditions, with temperatures ranging between 40–45°F. Candidates must be able to adapt to a fast‑paced work environment, navigate confined spaces, and work safely around traffic and moving equipment. The work environment may also include moderate noise levels and requires following all the Safety and Food Safety policies and procedures, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
PhysicalDemands
Employees must be able to stand, walk, or sit; for extended periods use their hands for tasks; reach with their arms; and communicate verbally. Occasional lifting or moving of objects is necessary (50 lbs), along with close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
