Overview
As a Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II, you'll be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining the Distribution Center equipment. This position is also responsible for assisting with facility repairs as needed. This Maintenance Mechanic/Mold Tech II is expected to be proactive and can perform their work at a high level with minimum supervision.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for following all Safety policies in compliance with Rain Bird Safety Standards and Programs
* Perform tasks to increase Equipment Uptime and Reliability
* Perform periodic Preventative Maintenance tasks
* Provide troubleshooting skills to make mechanical/electrical repairs to equipment
* Communicate issues/improvements/ideas between department members and Supervision
* Responsible for reviewing Corrective Work Orders via Smartsheets or CMMS software and update as required
* Troubleshoot equipment/machinery to determine issue and repair in a safe/timely manner
* Light Fabrication Work as needed
* Work alongside the Operations team in resolving equipment issues
Qualifications
* Follow Safety Policies and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
* High School Diploma or GED equivalent
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in Industrial Maintenance
* Ability to perform electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repairs
* Knowledge and ability to understand Electrical/Mechanical Drawings
* Experience repairing complex equipment/machinery
* Knowledge and experience with computers (Ability to research parts, machines, etc.)
* Strong Work Ethic
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others
* Ability to complete tasks timely
DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
* Working toward or have received a Technical Degree or Equivalent
* Problem solving experience
* Knowledge in Continuous Improvement (Improve equipment with new designs/modifications)
* 5+ Years of Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Experience
