Buffalo Rock is an award-winning Pepsi and Keurig Dr Pepper bottler. The Manufacturing Container Handler is a key member of the Production team. This position is responsible for the influx of bottles and cans to the depalletizers, as well as general housekeeping of the depalletizer area.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.
- Cut and clear plastic wrap and/or bands from incoming raw material pallets.
- Pick up trash from plant floor in and around the depalletizers.
- Empty and clean recycling and trash cans and return to assigned area.
- Sort items for recycling, placing in appropriate compactor/crusher.
- Recycle shipping bands through the band chipper.
- Clean out the inside of the depalletizer elevators when the lines are down.
- Band and/or wrap partial pallets for storage.
- Operate the remote-control panels at the bottom of the depalletizers.
- Keep all floor areas in and around the depalletizers clean using broom and air hoses.
- Train others in these duties.
- May be required to work varying shifts, weekends and/or overtime to meet customer demand.
- FOOD SAFETY:
Follow the Good Manufacturing Program (GMPs) as listed in CFR 21.110 and participate in related food safety training. Report potential food safety issues. - Carry out other duties as assigned.
- Must exhibit a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.

Working conditions will be inside and outside with temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold, including rain or snow, for extended periods.
