Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Harness Technician to join our Production Operations team in Courtland, AL
!

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Fabrication of cable assemblies for flight and ground support hardware.
• Electronic, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly.
• Work and build assemblies with work instructions.
• Perform a variety of hands‑on electrical assembly and minor mechanical assembly tasks ranging from repetitive to non‑repetitive production assembly operations.
• Conduct basic math and use computers at a basic level.
• Make continuity checks on work in process and completed work.
• May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications under simulated conditions.

The successful candidate must be able to work the variable shifts below contingent upon business needs.

• 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday (6:00 am – 4:30 pm)
• 2nd Shift: Monday – Thursday (3:30 pm – 2:00 am)
• Weekend Shift: Thursday – Sunday (6:00 am – 4:30 pm)

• Familiarity with harness fabrication / cable and connector assembly.
• Familiarity with the use of a variety of tools and materials related to electrical cable / wire harness fabrication and basic mechanical assembly.
• Ability to be trained and certified in accordance with LM SSC training requirements to perform all duties related to assigned tasks (IPC
  620/610 certification).

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five‑day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
