The ideal candidate will provide onsite maintenance support through preventative maintenance troubleshooting and repairs within the highly automated Non-grain Oriented Electric Steel (NOES)
Mill to meet the business goals of Arcelor Mittal Calvert .

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years of mechanical maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical knowledge in an industrial environment
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
• 2+ years of experience in pumps, valves, and fluid transfer in cooling water systems

• Associate’s degree in mechanical maintenance or similar
• Steel industry experience

• Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Builds partnerships and works collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
• Demonstrates commitment to teamwork by fostering an environment that embodies trust and respect
• Able to competently handle a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

• Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service
• Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
• Performs maintenance including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of machines
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions by sight, sound, or actions of machine
• Inspect, adjust, clean or lubricate equipment as preventive maintenance
• Tear down, replace, repair, install, and assemble equipment, parts, components, and accessories
• Assist other maintenance employees with repairs as necessary
