Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Logistics Operator in Tanner AL. Our client is a leading manufacturer in lightweight, aluminum high pressure die casting structural and power train parts. The Logistics Operator is responsible for as follows.

Shift: 2:30p.m.

-10:30p.m.

The Logistics Operator will also straighten and polish aluminum castings using a variety of pneumatic equipment and hand tools. As a Forklift Operator you will be ensuring safe operations and safe driving practices.

• Must be able to control output of machines in order to produce quality parts that are within required specifications.
• Perform quality checks on the finished product to verify conformance to specifications and insure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Perform setups, changeovers and preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery. Operators will be trained to perform tasks.
• Follow all 5S and safety initiatives.
• Unload and load materials.
• Identify damages or deficiencies and properly log/report to Logistics Manager.
• Report shortages.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 2 years of experience as a Forklift/tugger Operator.
• Must have 12 months of continuous work experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environment; and/or equivalent military experience.
• Must be quality conscious, paying a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment.
• Must have excellent hand and eye coordination.
