Position SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and safety-focused Site Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our industrial maintenance facility. This role is responsible for managing personnel, coordinating maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Supervise and lead a team of technicians and maintenance staff.
- Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance for industrial equipment and infrastructure.
- Monitor site performance and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce downtime.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA, environmental, and company safety standards.
- Manage budgets, procurement of materials, and maintenance tools and equipment.
- Act as the primary liaison between upper management, contractors, and on-site staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance logs, safety inspections, and incident reports.
- Support and lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and compliance training sessions.
- Prepare and present performance reports for senior management.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, breakdowns, or critical repairs as needed.
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, Maintenance Manager, or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, systems, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance, with 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, PMP, CMRP) are a plus.
Some overtime required to meet deadlines. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally. Requires long periods of sitting. This position is full-time onsite which may require temporary travel for extended periods of time. All of the physical demands listed are essential functions.
