Purchasing & Inventory Manager

Our client is looking for a Purchasing Manager who will drive the heartbeat of their operations by ensuring the right materials, at the right time, are always in place. In this pivotal role, you’ll streamline purchasing, elevate inventory accuracy, and collaborate across production teams to keep the entire facility running smoothly. You’ll be a trusted expert whose work directly strengthens efficiency, reliability, and overall performance.

• Developing, leading, and executing purchasing strategies across multiple spend categories
• Issuing purchase orders and expediting materials and equipment
• Managing materials/equipment inventory and implementing cycle counts
• Monitoring and forecasting delivery timing and quantity
• Maintaining accurate inventory data and system integrity
• Implementing bin locations and stock levels to automate replenishment
• Assisting with invoice or contract dispute resolution and analyzing budget deviations

• Experience in purchasing and inventory management within an industrial or automotive environment
• Ability to work independently as a results-oriented self-starter
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking capabilities
• High‑level communication and computer proficiency
• Comfort interacting with production teams and plant management
• Ability to quickly learn an industry‑specific ERP (Motorbase)
