Travel Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: Gold Branch

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Critical Access Hospital, covering outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings.

Job Details

• Acute care setting at a Critical Access Hospital (CAH),

• Primarily outpatient hospital-based setting with some inpatient and sub-acute/SNF coverage,

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; no weekends, no call, no solo work,

• 8-hour day shifts,

• 8-bed unit,

• Charting via Epic (One Chart); experience required,

• Modality equipment utilized in the department,

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required,

• Active SD PT license required (license required if applicable),

• Current BLS certification required,

• Experience with Epic EMR required,

• 2 current professional references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference from within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and 1 peer or supervisor reference from the position's specialty within the last 3 years,

• Active certifications required at time of consideration; no pending certifications accepted,

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, documentation, and patient/family education across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF settings,

• Incorporates current research and age-appropriate treatments into daily patient care,

• All documentation must meet departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements,

• Standard facility orientation covers safety, HIPAA, and standard precautions; in-department orientation covers setting-specific equipment and modalities (approximately 8 hours total),

• Casual dress code,

• Candidates who have previously worked at any location within this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to their consideration date,
