This is a full-time remote or in person role for a Mental Health Counselor. The Mental Health Counselor will be responsible for creating personalized treatment plans, providing individual (potentially group therapy sessions), facilitating family counseling when required, and performing case management tasks to monitor and document client progress. The role includes working collaboratively with various community agencies, conducting psychological assessments, and providing resources to support overall client mental health and wellness.
EHR implemented documentation. A commitment to addressing issues such as trauma, crisis intervention, general diagnoses in all age groups, and community support is essential to the role. We are known to provide care to our clientele that is compassionate, thorough, and meeting our clients where they are emotionally. We provide a Helping Hand to our clients healing process.
- Proficiency in Treatment Planning and Case Management to develop and monitor client progress
- Strong knowledge of Mental Health and Psychology to address client needs effectively
- Experience in Relationship Counseling to support healthy interpersonal dynamics
- Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work (LCSW preferred)
- Licensure in a relevant counseling field (e.g., LPC, ALC)
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Familiarity or certification in trauma-focused therapy and crisis intervention is preferred
- Commitment to serving diverse populations and promoting community wellness
- Experience working with EHR systems is beneficial. Zoom is the platform in our EHR used for teletherapy; privacy protected according to laws/standards. Preferred that you have training or certification in providing telementalhealth therapy.
