Job Summary

Pine Haven Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead our 171-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Eight Mile, Alabama.

This is a senior leadership role for a proven administrator who is passionate about clinical excellence, operational performance, and resident-centered care. As the LNHA, you will serve as the chief executive of the facility, overseeing all clinical, operational, and financial outcomes while cultivating a strong, engaged leadership team.

Nursing Home Administrator

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide overall leadership and direction for all aspects of a 171-bed skilled nursing facility, including clinical, financial, and administrative operations

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations, maintaining survey readiness at all times

  • Manage the facility budget, control labor and operational costs, and drive strong financial performance

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop department heads and leadership staff as needed

  • Promote a positive workplace culture that supports staff engagement, retention, and professional growth

  • Serve as the primary representative of the facility to residents, families, physicians, vendors, and the local community

  • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to meet and exceed clinical and operational benchmarks

Qualifications & Experience
  • Current, active Alabama Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) license, or eligibility for immediate licensure

  • 3–5 years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing facility

  • Proven success managing mid- to large-scale facilities with strong regulatory and clinical outcomes

  • Strong financial management and budgeting experience

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
