Duties Help
* Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of Foreign Military Sales programs for all assigned countries.
* Manage development of Basic Cases, Amendments, and Modifications; coordinating partner nation acceptance of Letter of Offer and Acceptances; and overseeing the successful execution of assigned cases from implementation through final closure.
* Leverage key relationships with foreign government representatives and the Security Assistance Enterprise to proactively identify and drive timely resolution of all emergent issues.
* Provide expert counsel to Security Assistance Enterprise colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding and correct application of policies and procedures.
* Directly supports executive decision-making by authoring a full range of leadership materials including decision papers, trip books, and official correspondence.
* Drive effective burden sharing by engaging directly with foreign partners through required official travel, using program updates and collaborative discussion to align strategic objectives.
* Present formal briefings on FMS case management actions to leaders and foreign dignitaries. Requirements Help Conditions of employment
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
* Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315. While probationary the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
* The position requires DoD SC Workforce (SCW) Certification. The incumbent must complete certification-related training requirements in the SC Area of Concentration (AoC) within the timeframe associated with the position's SCW certification level.
* This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time. Qualifications Who May Apply:
