CFD Research Corporation is looking to add an experienced test engineer to the team to support research and development (R&D) at our Engineering Test Center, located a short distance from our Headquarters in Huntsville, AL. The position is a new role that will work on a growing team of engineers and technicians and will encompass conceptual design, prototyping, and testing phases in support of Army, Air Force, and Navy programs.

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related engineering field
- Relevant coursework in fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, mechanics, and electrical/circuits
- 1+ years experience in a prototype and test environment
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience working with instrumentation and using a control software like LabVIEW, Rockwell Automation, etc.
- Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team of test technicians, machinists, design engineers, and analysts
- Experience developing and testing prototype hardware
- Experience with CNC machinery and fabrication tools/processes
Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
LocationThis role is based in Hollywood, AL and is 100% onsite.
