Purpose of the Position
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for containment activities to ensure customer quality. This position is also responsible for investigating, analyzing and correcting part quality related problems, as well as ensuring correct 8
Ds and processing SQMS tickets.
Essential Functions
- Analyze, review and investigate part quality issues.
- Analyze reports and returned product; recommends corrective action.
- Processing of SQMS tickets after verifying correct data.
- Provide feedback to other departments as appropriate, to preclude future recurrences of problems.
- Work in alignment with internal departments such as MP, QRD, Einfuehrung, Process Engineering and Production, Suppliers, MBCC. Implementation of containment activities to ensure customer quality.
Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards and laws. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to supervisor or Human Resources.
- Work safely 100% of the time.
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education, Experience and Necessary Skills all must be met in order to qualify for position.
Education
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related area or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
Co-Op/ internship and/ or up to 2' professional experience in the following area(s):
Manufacturing environment
Necessary Skills, Certifications, etc
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a willingness to work in a team environment. Proficiency in MS Office Applications. Excellent communication skills
Preferred Skills
- General knowledge of ISO 14000, QS 9000, and ISO/TS 16949 Management systems.
- Experience with SPC, and MSA.
- German language.
