Join our team at Koch's Georgia-Pacific Naheola Mill as a Reliability Engineer in the Tissue Mill area. You will play a key role in driving innovation and value creation in our manufacturing processes. The Naheola Mill is the largest employer in the community and supports community outreach, workforce development, and education. The area offers outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, boating, and water skiing, with a mild climate and proximity to the Gulf Coast. - Support and participate in achieving Environmental, Health & Safety excellence with a focus on identifying and mitigating critical hazards.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis to identify and address complex or repetitive failures, ensuring corrective actions are tracked to completion.
- Develop and support asset strategy execution for Tissue assets, reporting to the Tissue Operations Manager.
- Collaborate with equipment owners, remote monitoring teams, and local maintenance and reliability teams.
- Analyze operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and enhance equipment and process reliability.
- Share technical knowledge with operators and supervisors to foster a culture of reliability.
- Provide technical support for both capital and non-capital projects.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve improved reliability outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical/reliability experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven experience with Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Strong communication and presentation skills; effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Solid knowledge of reliability methodologies
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE)
- Vibration analysis certification
- Experience with reliability centered software
