Are you a dedicated emergency medicine physician seeking an opportunity to offer high-quality patient care? Team Health is seeking an emergency medicine (EM) physician to join our team at Brookwood Baptist Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) in Birmingham, Alabama.
About the Role
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a modern, state-of-the-art freestanding emergency department
- Deliver full-spectrum emergency medicine services, including rapid assessment, stabilization, and treatment of acute medical conditions
- Collaborate closely with skilled nursing, radiology, and laboratory teams in a high-efficiency care environment
- Flexible scheduling options supporting work/life balance
- Lower patient volume than hospital-based EDs with strong support staff
- 24/7 access to advanced imaging and onsite lab services
- Seamless transfer pathways to Brookwood Baptist Medical Center when higher-level care is required
- Board-certified or board-eligible emergency medicine physician
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a wide range of emergent presentations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
