Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Family Medicine Physician who has completed an Obstetrics Fellowship to join our Family Medicine Residency Program as Core Faculty. This is a hospital-employed position within a collaborative multispecialty group, designed for a passionate educator and skilled clinician looking to shape the future of family medicine. Role Highlights:
Full-time faculty role in an outpatient-focused practice Engage in resident recruitment, including interview and selection days Provide hands-on clinical education and supervise residents in outpatient settings Monitor resident documentation, orders, and care plans in the EMR, ensuring proper use of the GC-modifier for billing compliance Deliver structured feedback, including mid-rotation guidance and formal end-of-rotation evaluations Collaborate closely with fellow faculty members to support resident growth and performance tracking

Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Completion of an Obstetrics Fellowship (required) Passion for medical education, resident mentoring, and outpatient clinical care Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Prior academic or teaching experience preferred but not required Nestled along the Coosa River at the base of the Appalachian Mountains, this Alabama community offers a perfect balance of natural beauty, affordable living, and professional opportunity.
