Church Musician​/Piano Player

Overview

Murphy Hill Baptist Church is seeking a skilled and committed church musician—especially a piano player—to join our worship ministry team under the leadership of our Music Minister. This position plays an important role in helping lead our church in authentic, Christ-centered worship each week. We are a warm, welcoming Southern Baptist congregation that values a blended worship style, strong Biblical preaching, missions, and heartfelt praise.

• Supporting the Music Minister in Sunday worship services and weekly rehearsals
• Leading worship through piano and/or other musical contributions
• Assisting with choir rehearsals and special music
• Participating in seasonal programs such as Christmas and Easter cantatas
• Helping create a worship environment that brings glory to God and engages the congregation

• A follower of Christ with a heart for worship
• Proficiency in piano performance in a blended worship style
• Commitment to teamwork, preparation, and reliability
• A desire to serve and grow within a local church ministry
